This Privacy Policy explains how MediaOps ("we," "us," "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use our website and application (the "Service").
By using MediaOps, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information you provide directly
- Account information: name, email address, password (hashed, never stored in plain text), profile photo
- Business/deal information: brand names, contact names and emails, deal amounts, deliverables, deadlines, notes you enter into the CRM
- Payment information: billing details are collected and processed by our payment processor (Lemon Squeezy); we do not store full card numbers on our servers
- Support requests: any information you provide when contacting support
1.2 Information collected automatically
- Social media analytics: when you connect social media accounts or manually input your social stats, we collect follower counts, engagement rates, audience demographics, and related public performance metrics
- Usage data: pages visited, actions taken, timestamps, device/browser type, IP address
- Cookies: session cookies for authentication; we do not use third-party advertising cookies
1.3 Information from third parties
- OAuth providers (Google): basic profile information and the analytics scopes you explicitly authorize
- Payment processor (Lemon Squeezy): subscription status, payment confirmations
- E-signature provider (Documenso): contract signing status and timestamps
2. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service (media kits, deal tracking, contracts, reminders)
- Generate and update your media kit with current social statistics
- Process subscription payments and manage billing
- Send transactional communications: deadline reminders, account notifications
- Send contract documents to the brand contacts you designate
- Monitor and improve Service reliability
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service
We do not sell your personal information to third parties, and we do not use your data for third-party advertising.
3. How We Share Information
We share information only as necessary to operate the Service, with the following categories of service providers (subprocessors):

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Export your data in a portable format
- Withdraw consent for connected social accounts at any time
- Object to or restrict certain processing

MediaOps is not directed at individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
